Mark Randall presents his latest collection of works in The Flower Childs Show. This body of work is a stunning display in the airy, open and high-ceiling Slinde & Nelson venue. Pieces range from a 15 foot by 1 ft. corrugated tin wheatpaste collage, to 4′ by 4′ wooden panel collages and smaller pop-iconography homages laced and studded with beaded necklaces, faux-flowers from nearby cemeteries and a kitchy Feliz Navidad singing greeting card. You don’t want to miss this show!
“The theme of this group of work is really a continuation of using imagery that 1.) I like, always the selfish motivation, 2.) That hopefully evokes some response in the viewer and 3.) Makes the viewer, if they are honest with themselves, wonder why that image, that stereotype, does what it does…Enjoy the show. ” M. Randall
